The problems with the telephone system at John Tasker House Surgery have now been resolved - thank you for your patience during this time.

Both practices will be closed from 12.30pm to 6.30pm on Tuesday 5th November for staff training - call 111 or go to 111.nhs.uk (for people aged 5 and over only).  NHS111 is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week and calls to this service are free from both landlines and mobiles. 

Patient Access has been re-branded to make it clearer and easier to use.  The new web address is and the link on this page of our website has been updated.www.patientaccess.com

If you are due for your Annual Asthma Review please click on 'Asthma Review' under 'Further Information' and complete the questionnaire.

The NHS PRESCRIPTION FEE will be £9.00 per item from the 1st April 2019.

Please note that from 1st February 2018 the opening hours for the Dispensary at John Tasker House will be Monday to Friday 08.30-13.00 and 14.00-18.30.

HUB appointments - To cancel a weekend or evening appointment at the Dunmow Clinic please call 111 and select option 3.

EVENING APPOINTMENTS are available, Monday & Wednesday or Thursday 6.30 to 7.30pm at John Tasker House for both JTH and Felsted patients.

We are in the process of moving our online ordering of repeat prescriptions for patients over 18 years to a new system. Patients will need to attend the surgery with photographic ID (Photo Driving Licence, Passport etc.,) to register for the new service.  When they have registered for the new service patients will also be able to book appointments on-line and view their medication, allergies and immunisations. As a 'Research Active' practice we take part in a number of research projects each year.  These projects are co-ordinated by the Primary Care Research Network part of the National Institute for Health Research.
